Eda comes from the United States and serves as an Assistant Project Manager for Mzantsi Wakho. Her tasks include data management, project finances, fieldwork planning, and geo-referencing along with managing the project team. She most enjoys the unexpected surprises of fieldwork and continually changing demands of the project because it gives her the exciting challenge of resourceful on-the-spot solution creation as well as designing new systems to most efficiently meet new demands. In addition to being an incredible eye-opening (first) experience of living abroad, working with Mzantsi Wakho has allowed Eda to be a part of a tight-knit team who focuses not only on collecting quality data but also showing so much care for each participant. In five years, Eda will be successfully midway through her medical degree.
