Shaan Bhambra is a global health and molecular genetics student at the University of Toronto. At Mzantsi Wakho, he serves as a research assistant. He is honoured to be a part of the Mzantsi Wakho team.

He is passionate about the study of HIV, including both its biological and social aspects. In the future, he hopes to continue working in advocating for and researching youth health in Canada and abroad. He hopes to bridge the biological and social aspects of disease in his future studies. He is a strong believer that both need to be properly addressed in order to make diseases like HIV history.
