Anna is originally from Sweden and studied medicine at University of Oxford. She moved to King William’s Town to join the team field as a Fieldwork Coordinator in March 2017.

Her role includes coordinating the Research Assistants and assisting Project Managers in daily fieldwork planning. Her favourite part of her role is the unpredictable nature of fieldwork, and interacting with the fantastic team on a daily basis. She also enjoys working on the HeyBaby study within Mzantsi Wakho, which looks at the health of young parents and their children.  Anna hopes to use her medical knowledge and experience in public health research to work within research and policymaking in the future.
